We made it!!

Despite the early start, and Finn's unsheduled dash home and back, we got to Heathrow in perfect time. Check in went smoothly, and we breezed through security. A short wait in the departure lounge, and we were off. We landed ahead of schedule in Zurich, easily found the train station. The train leg of the journey was uneventful, and very scenic.

We jumped straight on the bus at Kandersteg, and were on site in a matter of minutes. Once the formalities of check-in were done, we picked up the tents and set about getting them erected. Everyone pulled together, and camp was soon set up. It was then off for tea in the cafeteria.

By now everyone was getting very tired, so after some free time to explore the site, it was off to bed ... which is where I am off to now! A bigger report tomorrow, and hopefuly some photos.

Finally, just to say that everyone has been extremely well behaved, and we had a very smooth and easy journey here - thank you everyone!
