Saturday 6th March 2010 - 90th Bristol Scouts (Westbury on Trym) undertook a sponsored railway carriage cleaning to raise money for their upcoming Kandersteg camping trip in Switzerland summer 2010. The East Somerset Railway, Cranmore, restarts services for 2010 on 14th March with a special Mothers' Day dining train. ESR Volunteer Andy Lunness commented "this is a real boost ahead of a busy year for the East Somerset Railway and we are delighted to give our carriage stock an extra deep clean whilst helping 90th Bristol Scouts raise money for an adventure in Switzerland." The Scouts will also be treated to rides on the recently created miniature railway at Cranmore and a look around the locomotive depot.
