After 2 years of planning and fund raising, 3 of our Leaders (Rob, Marion and Paul) and 3 of our young leaders (Rhys, Richard and Matt) went to India and Nepal along with a party of 10 from the 47th Plymouth Scout Group to run a Jungle Jamboree for 50 Cubs and Scouts in Meghauli in Southern Nepal. The trip also involved visiting local kindergartens and helping with English lessons, seeing some of the fund raising projects for the Friendship Clinic, trips into the jungle on elephants, and 5 days in the Annapurna mountain range. It is planned to give a presentation of the trip in the near future
